Bodies, How They Run

Bodies bodies bodies!
Engulf and swarm me into
the seas of bodies and bodies
and bodies–
Take me under the weight
of limbs,
where then I can reach a sense
of flight.
Plummet me into bodies
and bodies!
Arms and elbows
bruised with excitement–
where in bodies
and bodies
I can hear the familiar hum.
A murmur of tongues
sucking on the stars colors–
The dirt under nailbeds
claw into me and bloom
something like the sound
of a crunching static.

Let my throat buzz and
burn under clouds like bodies
and bodies–

Lay me down within
stacked up toes
and ankles jumping like
magic beans.
When bodies
and bodies reach unison
in the nights rummaging sounds.

Bodies and Bodies–
Why are you here?
Can you hear the same tune
growing in the cracks of your ears?
Does it sting
inside you like tobacco
and sour coated lips?

All gathered to betray that
familiar painful stillness.
To make the ground
howl as bodies purge
out the harrowing stench
of smog infused brains–
Swallowing the grime of strings–
Spitting out bodies
odor of crooked smiles
and sweaty skin’s enamel.

Here,
the humming buzzing jumping
bodies dance in murderous hopes
to deject the own decaying
of their precious vessels.
Refusing the night’s lullaby
like the bitter plucking of
hair off your chin.

Bodies and bodies
form illuminating silhouettes
of passing shapes–
morphing and dancing along
the walls,
beaming in the organ's
sensuous pulsing.
Freed in the feet
and their youthful singing
to run.

Bodies and bodies
and bodies–
Oh, how they run.
